Hi – Welcome !

By Benoit on 7 September 2018

Wait, wait, there’s only a couple of articles here…?

Well, yes. But we have a good excuse : we’re French. Groww has been active for more than 3 years now, focusing on making an app that’s useful to our users and fun to use. We did that at home – meaning in France (and french-speaking territories, of course), thus producing all our content (the plant encyclopedia – an extensive database of more than 1500 entries – and all our blog posts) in French only, so far.

We spent a couple of months translating the plant encyclopedia  (a tough job, mind you) – and now we’re just ready to launch our app in english. Once that’s done, we’re going to add articles in both languages on a regular basis, and translate from French to English some of the best (or most read) articles, one after the other.

So come back from time to time – and enjoy using our app !

    Jam and poetry

Do you prefer homemade, or supermarket jams …? The economist immediately began …

    Groww – our design principles

We thought we wanted to tell you a bit more about our values, and what’s important to us. Are you interested to know why this application is made? When we started Groww, we designed these six design principles – and 4 years later, they still command anything we do or any change we make to …

    Growing redcurrant from cuttings

Today, as we walked our way back from the market (our vegetable garden provides all our veggies these days, but sometimes, you know, when you live in the North of France, you crave for peaches and apricots!) we went through a public park, where the city council has planted fruit trees, such as apple, pear, …
